elevator updates

The eleven homes we are building on North Kenwood Street in Glendale are almost finished!  We have set the date for our dedication ceremony as June 5th at 11am -- it's coming soon! As you may know, two of the eleven families moving into these homes have wheelchair-bound sons, so we've been able to add a few modifications to accommodate their needs -- I've included some pictures of what has recently been installed. There is a lift that goes from the semi-subterranean garage to the first floor, an elevator to go from the first to second floor, widened doorways and a special bathroom for easier bathing.

With just 6 weeks until completion, we still have about $19,000 left to raise to cover the costs of the modifications ... we need your help!
