youth programs

We are excited to announce that we have officially launched a youth program at SGVHFH!

James Burke is the newest addition to our staff and is working specifically with developing our Corporate Team Build Days, where groups donate time and money to a Habitat build, as well as with implementing ways to engage the youth ages 5-25.

So how can youth get involved?  Although anyone over the age of 16 is welcome to volunteer individually, our youth program will empower kids, teens and young adults to start or join a group dedicated to the cause of eliminating substandard housing and to be the change our world (and our local community) needs.  Students or church groups can form a Campus Chapter or Youth United group to collectively fundraise, volunteer, spread awareness, advocate, learn and develop leadership skills.
